International Shipping & Duties Guide for Korean Kidswear (DDP, Processing, Backorders & Delivery Times)

1) Order Processing Time
Coconu sources many items directly from Seoul’s wholesale markets and does not maintain large on-hand inventory. In-stock items are typically prepared within 2–3 business days. Backorder items may require an additional 5–7 business days for sourcing and preparation.
During promotional events, holidays, or high-volume seasons, processing times may take longer than usual. Once an order moves into processing, modifications or cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

3) Shipping Policy & Timeline
Estimated total delivery time: 5–10 business days for most regions.

4) Taxes & Duties (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid)
Coconu ships international orders under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms.
Import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees are not included in listed product prices. However, applicable taxes and duties are automatically calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping destination.
The final amount paid at checkout includes all required import charges. Under normal circumstances, you will not be required to pay any additional duties or taxes upon delivery.
If a package is refused, returned due to incorrect address information, or undeliverable for reasons attributable to the customer, any incurred return shipping fees, customs charges, or related costs may be deducted from the refund.
5) Address Accuracy (Important)
Please ensure that all shipping information is filled out accurately before completing your order. Once the order status has been updated to “Fulfilled,” the receiving address for international shipments cannot be changed.

6) Backorders & Prepaid Reservations
Some items may become temporarily unavailable after an order is placed due to fast-changing wholesale market stock. When this happens, the item enters a backorder status.
For many backorder items, we must make a prepaid reservation with the supplier to secure the product once it restocks. Once this reservation is made, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
Backorders typically require an additional 5–7 business days, and in some cases up to 1–2 weeks. We will notify you if extended delays occur.
If you prefer not to wait, please email us immediately after placing your order to request processing without prepaid reservations. If the reservation has already been made, cancellation may not be possible.
If you would like available items shipped first, we can arrange a partial shipment, though additional shipping fees may apply.
7) Sold Out Items
If a product is confirmed as sold out during the sourcing process, we will notify you by email as soon as possible. We will provide store credit or a refund for the unavailable item. Remaining items will continue to be prepared and shipped as usual.
8) Modifications or Cancellations
Once an order is submitted, it moves quickly into processing and shipment preparation. After this stage, we cannot guarantee changes, including canceling all or part of the order, changing sizes/colors, or adjusting shipping details.
9) Tracking My Order
Tracking information will be sent by email once your order ships. If you have an account, you may also track your order through your Order History.
Orders placed Monday–Friday before 10AM (KST) may be processed the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off time or during weekends will be processed on the next business day.
If your order ships in multiple parcels, you may receive more than one tracking email. During peak promotional periods, processing may require an additional 1–2 business days.
10) Lost or Stolen Packages
Carriers may occasionally scan a package as “Delivered” before it physically arrives. Please allow up to four business days after the delivery scan for the package to appear.
If the package does not arrive, please check around your delivery location and with neighbors/building management/mailroom. If it still cannot be located, please contact the carrier and notify us.
Coconu cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages after the carrier marks the shipment as delivered.
11) Failed Delivery / Return-to-Sender
If a delivery fails due to incorrect address information, refusal to accept the package, or other customer-attributable reasons, the shipment may be returned to us.
Refunds will be issued after deducting all incurred costs, including round-trip shipping, customs fees, and storage charges.
